Callidus landed on Innistrad, having no idea where he landed and frankly didn't care at all. He walked across the amber grass field and eyed a small village, a sign of intelligent life. "A village? Better than that one tribe of goblins." Callidus talked to himself, somewhere deep inside he knew it was a bad habit but did it anyways.
He made his way into the village, rearranging his satchel strap on his shoulder. "Locals..."

Kyra walked, nearly ran, towards her house, she was late for supper and she needed to be home to help Analise, the lady that had adopted her, set the table. She had spent way too much time in the forest this afternoon. She was distracted. She just followed her memorize path home.
She came to her senses just before she ran straight into someone and fell backwards into the dirt.
"I'm sorry!," She apologized from the ground and held her hand up for help. Surely he would notice.... she hoped.

Callidus stumbled backward a few steps as something ran into him. "Watch where ya goi-" his gaze sheepishly moved down to the young girl on the ground infront of him.
"Excuse me." An odd smile was slapped on his face as he grabbed the girls hand and helped her up.

She smiled as he helped her up but it immediately faded. His voice didn't sound like anyone from the village and he smelled familiar but she couldn't place her finger on it.
"I'm sorry," she said again, blinking a few times. "I..." Kyra laugh before she spoke, "I didn't see you there. Well I couldn't anyway. I was in a rush, too. I'm sorry... are you okay?" She dusted herself off and brushes her hair behind her ear.

He rubbed the back of his neck and moved his gaze to the ground for a moment then quicly back to the girl. "Yeah! Yeah...I'm fine." He quickly noticed he was still holding her hand and decided akwardly shake it. "Hello...names Callidus. Yourself, miss?"

Kyra tugged her hand away and blushed a deep shade of pink. she shoved her hand in her pocket and stumbled over her words. "I... hello Callidus. I'm Kyra. I... if you don't mind me asking, where are you from? I've never heard of you before and we don't usual get travelers this late in the evening.."

"Not from around here." Callidus tried to casually brush past the question. "What is here anyways? I kind of just decided to travel. Let my impluse take me places." He shrugged and looked around the village.

Her eyebrows furrowed together, "Morhedge Village... you know... right outside of Kessig's Wolf Run?" A simple thought went through her mind when he asked her... could he be like her? No, no.. he was probably from Thraben and never left before...
That was a good excuse, this was a trade village after all.

Callidus's eyes visablly narrowed. "Right...Morhedge Village near Kessig Wolf Run. Thanks for the info." He patted the side of the girls arm as a gesture of thanks and walked past her, eager to explore.

She stood confused for a moment before reaching out and grabbing his arm, "Hey I can show you around the village. My... mum won't be to worried about me."

Callidus turned around with a goofy smile on his face. "I knew you wouldn't let me travel alone. I might as well take you up on your offer also. Always good to have a companion." He turned back around and scanned the village. "So...where to first, Kyra?"
