Well, I know this doesn't count as character art but I did make a card for him so yeah.
Age: 20
Race: Shapeshifter
Gender: Unknown (but refers itself to male and uses a male look so I'll just call it a he.)
Appearance: In his normal form he is a male that is 5'9 and weights 130 lbs. He has short and messy reddish-orange hair and striking icy blue eyes. His face is perfectly symmetrical given his shapeshifter nature. His skin is pale and fair. No sign of facial hair. He wears dark red pants that are cuffed at the bottom and are held up by a brown belt. His torso weilds a navy blue button up shirt that's a little less than halfway opened up revealing a dark red tunic and has rolled up sleeves. His shoes are black. He has multiple sliver or gold rings on his fingers. He carries around a dark brown expensive looking satchel .
Home Plane: Dominaria (Vesuva)
Mana Alignment: UR
Specialization: Shapeomancy (The abilty to physically transform any form or being into a completely ((or somewhat similar)) different form or being.) Also pretty good at sneaking around. Knows some minor mind tricks.
Personality: Trickster, erratic, silver tounged. Could back stab an ally at any moment for no other reason than "just because I can." Loves to make and execute large and intricate plans with the sole purpose of causing mischief. Gets bored easily. Curious.
Backstory: Callidus's mother was a human and his dad a shapeshifter. His father came from Vesuva yet wanted to settle down and live a normal life away from the hectic life of Vesuva so he moved to Benalia. He quickly found a lover, hiding the nature of his species away. Not before long, Callidus was born and his mother died during the birth.
His father didn't discipline Callidus at all, and most of the time, didn't even care where he was. Callidus was alone for most of his life on Dominaria, spending most of his time in the Benalia markets where he stole from various markets using his new found abilities and eventually seperated from his father. With children he hung around with, he would play tricks on them, ranging from changing small girls small dog into a large spider to life scarring experiences such as shifting into another boy he knew and going to his house and tearing the place apart and then when the other boys mom came in and tried to confront his "son" but Callidus shifted into a demonic little imp and hissed at her before running away.
When he was about 19 years old he was caught by a passerby steal from the the Kings palace and was taken into custody. They left him in a cell for 4 weeks and authorities were planning to starve him. Weakened and on the brink of passing out his spark ignited.
