Caladia had been born and raised in the heart of the Vitu-Ghazi, learning and teaching various healing magics and basic woodshaping, but has always had a lust to see the rest of the world.
She had found herself in one of the main streets of the Tenth District, many eyes upon her for being dressed in her usual Selesnyan garb.

Jack had just arrived on Ravnica awhile ago. There was a brief period of peace back on Innistrad after his last battle which allowed him some time to be away. He needed to see about getting some supplies for his allies back home, weapons were becoming blunt, broken or scarce and the smiths back home wouldn't be able to handle the load on such short notice. He hadn't had time to visit other planes lately, plenty of fighting and defending to do on Innistrad. A good man never runs out of work to do there.
Jack had always been fascinated by the guilds of Ravnica. He had dreamed of joining the Boros guild when he was a teenager shortly after he unlocked his spark. Always imagining himself as guild leader defending the weak and serving justice to the wicked. Although he already did those things under his own name on a daily basis back in Innistrad there was something appealing to him about the sense of community and brotherhood that was sure to come with being allied under the righteous fist of the Boros banners.
He had lost himself briefly in remembering these things but recollected himself and started moving out of the alcove he had appeared in and out onto the main streets. Busy as he remembered them he started towards the square where most of the shops he frequented were. He hated crowds, his especially blood thirsty side got a little too overactive when around so many people. He always made sure to handle his thirst before leaving for Ravnica, he couldn't risk any kind of outburst or incident involving his thirst while around all of those people. Maybe they weren't all innocent but it mattered not. Even if he didn't have an incredibly North oriented compass he couldn't risk getting discovered, especially not his secret.
He started noticing people of the different guilds passing by, the colors of their clothes and their demeanor told him everything he needed to know for their affiliation to be determined. However one woman nearby caught his eye. Selesnya by the look of her clothes and the smell of nature coming from her. Jack liked meeting new people and he felt positive energy from her so he decided to initiate conversation.
"Hello there my lady. What brings you here today?"

She seems startled at first, now speaking to someone whose hair color was quite unusual. She regains her composure, and responds. "I'm just... visiting the world!" She sounds a bit awkward. "Who might you be?"

His damn hair always stands out too much, always makes him a bit paranoid that they might notice his eyes too. He keeps his composure however and continues with pleasant conversation.
"Name's Jack, just coming to have a look around myself. It's been awhile since I've been here, looks like it's your first time. Care for some help?"

If ever there was a public stunt that got Blackbird in a lot of trouble, it was taking a walk around the districts of Ravnica in his full outfit. Unfortunately for him, it was also a display of audacity that he enjoyed a lot, seeing that he had never been physically apprehended for doing so. Oh sure, they'd try and stop him, but Blackbird always seemed to be one step ahead, never allowing their hands to even touch him. Undoubtedly, today would be no different.
As Blackbird strode through the small crowd of people in the Tenth District, his infamous raven mask and long black thief suit drew more than one bewildered look or frightened gasp from the surrounding bystanders. Eventually on of the more law-abiding citizens would call the guards, but to be quite frank, Blackbird didn't care. Today, he was out to have fun.
"Odd. All of my walks seem to end up here for some reason.", Vallus said to himself under his mask. He took a moment to soak in his environment, but a moment of his attention stolen was all it took to accidentally bump into someone. A girl, dressed in Selesnyan wardrobe. Stumbling back a bit, Blackbird quickly righted himself and shook himself of the shock from the small collision.
He quickly turned his attention to the girl and her fiery-haired acquaintance. "Good gods, I deeply apologize. I seem to not be paying very much attention today, do I? Are you alright?", he asked the girl. Best not to upset her stalwart-looking man-friend.

Caladia was bumped, but not off of her feet. "Pardon me," she instinctively said, a bit shaken since it's her first few moments in the world. Is this common behavior? "Yes, I'm quite alright, thank you." She turned back to Jack. "I'm fine, just...exploring. Actually, do you know any common sources of...entertainment nearby?"

He took note of the eccentric gentleman who had bumped into the girl he had just introduced himself to. He tried to take note of him and record it to memory as best he could, his demeanor was pleasant enough but he sensed something dark about him. Dark and possibly familiar. He realized he was getting lost in his head again and brought himself back to the matter at hand just in time to hear the girl, Caladia , ask him her question.
"Hail to you sir." He formally addressed the man but couldn't get the sense that he was familiar somehow. "I can show you to the square just a bit from here, actually it's in the direction I was heading anyway so it's no problem. Would you like for me to show you the way?"

"I'd... love for you to, actually." She held her staff at her waist a bit uneasily, but followed him.
